Windows 9 Operating System Release Date

Microsoft team has been recently confirmed that work of about the Windows 9 operating system is currently in progress but the release date is not yet to be disclosed. Windows 9 expected to be released in year 2014-2015 and Microsoft is already working on its long term strategy.

Few year ago after the success of Windows Vista OS the company is looking beyond the Windows 7 OS then planning for Windows 8 OS and beyond that Windows is planning to release Windows 9 Operating system very soon.

After launching the Windows 8 operating system a ago the software giant is reportedly already working on the Windows 9 operating system, which could be on the market next year. A new version of Windows by the third or fourth quarter of 2013 would end the tradition whereby updated versions are launched every three years or so and according to technology website ZDNet the latest version could be nicknamed WindowsBlue with a new interface.

According to the recent report, Microsoft can be release the first Windows 9 operating system beta version on January 2014 but Windows 9 would arrive at approximately two years after its predecessor with a major upgrade rolled out between the two releases.

As the Windows 9 features Microsoft will not bring back the Start button, but the Microsoft focusing on the developing the start screen and adding more configuration options. As the result third-party Start menu apps would be user's only chance to make Windows a more familiar working environment, but Microsoft expects all consumers to get used to the Start Screen by the time Windows 9 hits the market.
